TOUR OVERVIEW

  • DAY 1 - WELCOME TO CROATIAYour tour will start with a meet & greet at Zagreb airport. Our English-speaking driver will welcome You by holding a sign with Your nametag in the arrivals hall. After meeting with our driver enjoy a private transfer from Zagreb airport to Your hotel/accommodation which is about 30 minutes long. The rest of the day You'll have leisure time.

      Overnight in Zagreb

  • DAY 2 - EXPERIENCE ZAGREB: Our local guide will meet You at the lobby of Your hotel at 9:00 and go on a 2-hour long private walking tour. See Kaptol & Gradec, 2 Old Town sections and it's sights like Stone Gate, st. Mark's church, Lotrščak tower, WW II tunnel, Tkalča street, Dolac market, Zagreb Cathedral & ban Jelačić square. Tour will end around 11:00 after which You'll have about one hour of free time before meeting with the driver and heading to the next destination - Opatija. At 12:00 You'll have a private transfer from Zagreb to Opatija. You'll arrive at Opatija by 14:00 and You will have free time the whole afternoon to explore beautiful Opatija which was the most chic seaside resort for the Austro-Hungarian elite during the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

  • DAY 3 - DISCOVER ISTRIA: Meet the driver at 9:00 am in front of Your hotel and head on a full-day tour from Opatija to Istria. A first stop for the day will be a captivating little walled town perched on a 277m hill in the Mirna River valley - Motovun.  You will have about 1-2 hours of free time to explore this magnificent city fortified by the Venetians in the 14th century. After Motovun and a 45-min long drive, You'll reach Poreč - The ancient Roman town with the UNESCO World Heritage-listed basilica, a medley of Gothic, Romanesque and baroque buildings, and well-developed tourist infrastructure. The next stop, located 45-min drive from Poreč is coastal Istria’s star attraction - Rovinj. The old town is contained within an egg-shaped peninsula, webbed with steep cobbled streets and small squares, and punctuated by a tall church tower rising from the highest point. Rovinj is as well considered one of the most romantic cities on the Croatian coast. Have an hour or two of free time to walk this magnificent city and have lunch before continuing to the last destination for the day before returning to Opatija.  The last stop, located a 40-min drive from Rovinj is Pula - famous for its well-preserved Roman amphitheater. Use about an hour to explore it and drive back to Opatija right after may start. The drive back to Opatija is approximately 90-min long. 

      Overnight Opatija

  • DAY 4 - SENJ & PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK: On day 4 You'll leave Opatija and head to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. You'll meet our driver in front of Your hotel at 8:30 and have a private transfer from Opatija to Plitvice Lakes with a stop in Senj to see Nehaj fortress. Drive to Senj is about 90-minutes long, right there You'll have about 60-minutes of free time to explore the Nehaj fortress - a sturdy stone cube that looms above the town from a 62m-high hill. Right after You'll continue to drive for about 2 hours to reach Plitvice Lakes. Upon arrival at the park, Your guide will explain what routes are possible depending on Your activity level. Tour of the park will last approximately 3-4 hours and You'll explore on foot and by panoramic boat & park train. After the park tour, You'll meet Your driver who will take You to a local restaurant where You'll have some free time for lunch(at Your own expense). After late lunch driver will take You to the hotel in the Plitvice Lakes area. Free evening. 

        Overnight Plitvice Lakes

  • DAY 5 - SMILJAN, ZADAR & ŠIBENIK: On day 5 You're heading to Šibenik while visiting 2 attractions on the way there. The first stop, located 1h15min drive from Plitvice is a peaceful and small village called Smiljan. The place where one of the greatest minds was born - Nikola Tesla – the man responsible for bringing electricity into our homes and inventing wireless technology. You'll visit his house which today is a fascinating museum that includes displays about his life and working replicas of some of his most famous inventions. After Smiljan, a 90-min drive away is Zadar, the next stop famous for the historic old town, Venetian walls, Roman ruins, medieval churches, Sea Organ and Greeting to the sun. The last stop for the day is Šibenik-city with the magnificent medieval heart and home to the architectural glory of the Dalmatian coast and the undisputed masterpiece of its principal designer, Juraj Dalmatinac, UNESCO World Heritage Site - St.James Cathedral. Free late afternoon and evening in Šibenik.

       Overnight Šibenik

  • DAY 6 - TROGIR & SPLIT: Meet with Your driver at 10:00 and prepare to head to the next destination. The first stop this day will be the gorgeous city of Trogir -  set within medieval walls on a tiny island. You'll discover its mazelike marble streets with our local guide for Trogir on a 1-hour long private guided walking tour. After Trogir meet with Your driver and head to Split - Croatia's 2nd largest city and home to the Palace of Roman emperor Diocletian. Explore this Unesco World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments with a licensed local expert guide on a 2-hour long walking tour. Later check in to Your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day on leisure to try some of the local restaurants and walk through one of the most popular promenades in Croatia - Splitska Riva.

       Overnight in Split

  • DAY 7 - HVAR ISLAND: Meet with Your driver in the early morning hours and prepare to head to the Hvar island. Upon arrival, You'll visit Stari grad, famous for the ancient Greeks, who called it Pharos. The surrounding fields are still divided into parcels of land demarcated in antiquity which are the UNESCO World Heritage site today. Later You'll visit a winery and have a tour of Hvar town and a free afternoon and evening. 

       Overnight in Hvar

  • DAY 8 - STON, PELJEŠAC: Pack Your things, enjoy breakfast, and later meet with a driver. Enjoy a full-day transfer from Hvar to Dubrovnik with a lunch stop in Mali Ston and wine tasting in the small local winery on the Pelješac peninsula. Drive to the first stop- the city of Ston is about 3-hour long. You'll have 1-hour of free time to explore this charming city famous for salt, oysters, and the remarkable 5.5km defensive medieval wall. Right after the driver will take You to the small village nearby where You'll have free time for a local lunch experience. Later, the driver will take You to a local winery on the Pelješac peninsula where You'll have a chance to try some of the Croatian finest wines. After wine tasting, the last part of the drive is ahead of You, You'll reach the final destination for the day - Dubrovnik in the late afternoon hours and rest of the day You'll have leisure time.

  • DAY 9 - MEET THE PEARL - DUBROVNIK: Ready to explore this beautiful Adriatic Gem. Start with meeting the driver at 9:00 and head for a panoramic drive, on a 1-hour long panoramic part You'll visit Srđ hill and other viewpoints. At 10.00 driver will drop You off at the entrance to the Old Town of Dubrovnik where You'll meet with a local licensed guide for Dubrovnik and head for a 2-hour long private city tour. Experience what this city has to offer, walk the magnificent Stradun street, admire the beautiful architecture and learn about the super-rich history of this once Republic city. Later, use the free afternoon to walk the stunning ancient walls, visit the Lovrijenac fortress, Dubrovnik Cathedral, Franciscan monastery, the Oldest pharmacy in Croatia and more. Afternoon at leisure.

      Overnight in Dubrovnik

  • DAY 10 - GOOD-BYE CROATIA:  We hope You loved Croatia and that Your journey back home(or to the next destination) will be enriched by beautiful experiences and memories. Depending on Your flight time, the driver will pick You up at the scheduled time and take You on a private transfer from Dubrovnik city to Dubrovnik airport(the ride is approximately 30-minutes long)... Good-bye!
